About Jonathan

Jonathan is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, being called in 2004. He has spent his career focused on civil litigation, carrying a broad portfolio of personal injury work, representing both plaintiff and defendants, accident benefits, loss transfer & priority disputes, and subrogation.  Jonathan is trained in the Harvard method of dispute resolution with Stitt Feld Handy.

Jonathan brings a unique perspective and experience, having spent almost 20 years with one of Canada’s largest insurers, including over 15 years in a leadership role, which provided him with a unique view of resolution obstacles and inherent risks associated with litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants.

Jonathan is also an avid sports fan, golfer, baseball coach, and swimming official.  He lives vicariously through the sporting exploits of his two children, Owen (baseball) and Makayla (competitive swimmer).  If lost, Jonathan will likely be found between the chalk lines of a dusty baseball field or chlorine infused environment of a local pool in the Vaughan area.
